Recognizing Your Soul Signs
Finding your soul signs is easy for some and much more difficult for others. Some of you have tattooed your soul symbol somewhere on your body or may have collected a series of the some figurines. Whatever they are, pay attention. It is your destiny to find out why these objects or living things are showing up in your world. Right now my soul signs are dragonflies, hummingbirds and the fleur de lis. The dragonfly represents my spirituality and being aware of what is happening in all directions. The hummingbirds dive bomb my back yard and screech to me daily reminding me to lighten up. The fleur de lis has been stirring some past life memories about France and my connection to the country. At different stages in your life, signals will come in and go. They can come in the form of symbols, scents, animals or items. When I was younger, a prominent symbol for me became frogs. My first frog found its way into my possession when my friends threw me a going away slumber party. That was the same year, 1969, that my novel is set during. The frog was off white and three inches high with holes for eyes. It came with a packet of incense. Through the years it has become the most prized frog in my collection. A week ago, when over 500 homes burned to the ground just south of here, that knick-knack was on my list of evacuation necessities. Now my frog collection adorns the thirty plants we maintain to keep the air clean at our home. In case you are wondering, frogs represent the many lives I have lived. I am hoping this is my last.
