Mastering the Pendulum

Do you have a hard time making every day decisions? Do you second guess your intuition?  Do you wish you had your very own pocket psychic you could ask for guidance at any time?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, I have a solution for you.

It’s called a pendulum.

The pendulum is a basic metaphysical tool to communicate with your guides. The best part is the answer is right at your fingertips. Since 1994 I have used it regularly, yet less so now since I have evolved into clairaudience, aka clear hearing. My favorite has a heavy crystal at the bottom with seven beads on its chain that represent the 7 chakras.

Pendulums are made of many different materials including copper, stone, wood and crystal.  They come in several shapes and sizes.  Each of the materials pertains to certain qualities.  It is believed that balsam wood is best since it is light and does not seem to hold on to excess energy.

Another popular choice is rose quartz.  This stone has multiple qualities working with the top four chakras, promoting love, forgiveness, and passion.  While nurturing your inner child, it will enhance your self confidence and can ease sexual and emotional imbalances.  Try to find a stone that enhances what you are currently working on it your life.

Let your pendulum choose you.  While browsing for one, give notice to the colors that jump out at you.  If it feels right in your hand or vibrates to the touch, this is the one for you.  Before beginning, cleanse your pendulum.  It you are lucky enough to live by the ocean, you can use salt water or create your own with tap water and sea salt.  Another way is to run it under cool water.  Set your intentions to clean it of any residual energy.
